The headwaters of Fisheating Creek meander through Blue Head Ranch in Highlands County on their way to Lake Okeechobee. Blue Head is also home to an abundance of wildlife and diverse habitats including freshwater marshes, palmetto prairies, mixed wetland forests, and oak hammocks.
