Meyer Vogl Gallery: Coming March 2016

We are thrilled to announce that Meyer Vogl Gallery, a contemporary fine art gallery located in the heart of Charleston’s gallery district, will be opening its doors in March. Permanently featuring oil paintings by artists and owners Laurie Meyer and Marissa Vogl, we will also exhibit works by local and nationally recognized guest artists — artists ranging from emerging to established contemporary masters who, simply put, excite us!

Located on the corner of Queen and Meeting Streets, the space is a former two-story law firm that’s currently being renovated and transformed it into a beautiful, open, light-filled art gallery.

Our gallery may be new, but our ties to Charleston run deep. Marissa is a Montana native who burst onto the Charleston art scene seven years ago. Laurie has lived and painted in Charleston for nearly 35 years. And Katie Geer — director of the gallery and Laurie’s daughter — grew up surrounded by art and artists, developing an eye and a passion for the business. We are all lovers of color and bold brushwork, and together we have formed a strong vision for Meyer Vogl Gallery.
